Lillehammer Vandrerhjem Stasjonen / Hostel is located at the bus/train station in the centre of Lillehammer. Great skiing and winter activities waiting just around the corner.
Hafjell Alpine Centre, which is accessible by a daily ski bus from the bus station, is only 15-20 minutes away. Hafjell offers 31 different slopes and 15 lifts, including a gondola, with a vertical drop of 835 metres. Hafjell is the 3rd biggest ski resort in Norway, and the number one for those who prefer twin tip skiing or snowboarding. The centre is also very well suited for children.
Room facilities include bed linen, towels, shower/wc, TV and free wireless Internet access. All guests also have access to a guest kitchen and a guest computer free of charge. Free parking is also available.

* The ski passes for Hafjell are also valid in the ski centres belonging to Lillehammer Ski Resorts (Skeikampen, Kvitfjell, Gålå, Sjusjøen). You have to get the ski pass in Hafjell the first day. Then you can choose where you want to ski.
- Key Card is obligatory for all kinds of ski passes because of the touch free ticket system. Price Key Card NOK 75 (NOK 50 is refundable).
- Children 0-7 years free (need only the Key Card à NOK 75.)

Take the children to a day off fun in Lekeland Hafjell. As one of Norway's largest indoor play parks, Lekeland Hafjell has been specially designed for kids ages 0 - 12, and features a play area covering approx. 800 sq.m.
Tobagganing is one of Lillehammer’s most popular winter activities. Everyone is equipped with a helmet and goggles, and you control the speed yourself by applying the brakes on the toboggan as needed. It takes only a few runs before you are racing at full speed down course, laughing all the way.
Sjusjøen, Nordseter and Øyer mountain offers 350km two tracked cross-country trails in an easy and accessible forest and mountain terrain and have a direct cross-country trail connection with Lillehammer, Hafjell area and the Olympic cross-country trails at the Birkebeiner Ski Stadium. About 200km of the trail network are also prepared for skating.
