The hostel is based in Lillehammer with great skiing and winter activities waiting just around the corner. Lillehammer Hostel is centrally located at the bus/train station. Hafjell Alpine Centre is only 15-20 minutes away, where you will find diverse pistes/runs and a place where the whole family will find challenges. Buy lift tickets here.

Tobagganing is one of Lillehammer’s most popular winter activities. Everyone is equipped with a helmet and goggles, and you control the speed yourself by applying the brakes on the toboggan as needed. It takes only a few runs before you are racing at full speed down course, laughing all the way.

Sjusjøen, Nordseter and Øyer mountain offers 350km two tracked cross-country trails in an easy and accessible forest and mountain terrain and have a direct cross-country trail connection with Lillehammer, Hafjell area and the Olympic cross-country trails at the Birkebeiner Ski Stadium. About 200km of the trail network are also prepared for skating.

At the foot of Gudbrandsdalen - 12 km north of Lillehammer - is a winter park out of the ordinary; a fairytale kingdom which should not be seen or visited before nightfall. Hunderfossen Winter Park is the only one of its kind in Europe!
